Our story

Fearless by nature

FumingLyon TV makes real-life dramedy — films and series about everyday people, told with honesty rather than spectacle. Comedy that comes from truth, drama that doesn't need to exaggerate, and stories that feel specific enough to one place that they end up meaning something everywhere.

Our films are diaspora-focused by instinct rather than by formula: family expectation against personal ambition, the conversations people have with the people they love, the parts of a life that don't fit neatly into "success" or "failure." We'd rather tell one honest story about one specific person than a generic one about everyone.

That's the whole editorial position, really. Funny, honest, and relatable — in that order matters less than all three being true at once.

The founder

Funmilayo Priscilla Fadele

Funmilayo is a Nigerian filmmaker and network development engineer based in Dublin, Ireland. By training, she's a senior network engineer who moved from Nigeria to Europe through a fully sponsored global tech role. By passion, she's a storyteller who has loved film and visual storytelling since childhood — and at some point stopped treating the two as separate careers.

FumingLyon TV is where that storytelling lives: real-life dramedy, made deliberately, on budgets that prove the story matters more than the spend. It sits alongside the other things she's built — migration guidance, engineering interview coaching, and speaking-confidence practice — under the same belief that clear, honest information told simply helps people move forward.
